About NHSPC
The mission of the State Suicide Prevention Council is to reduce the incidence of suicide in New Hampshire by accomplishing the priorities of the 2025-2029 NH State Suicide Prevention Plan (NH Suicide Prevention State Plan 2025-2029).
- Develop and implement wide-reaching partnerships and communication strategies to raise awareness and advance suicide prevention activities in New Hampshire.
- Prevent suicide in key settings in New Hampshire by ensuring those at risk of suicide get connected to the proper treatment and services they need.
- Enhance accessible and timely data on suicidal thoughts, attempts, and deaths for a better understanding of the risk and protective factors for suicide in New Hampshire.
