About NHSPC

The mission of the State Suicide Prevention Council is to reduce the incidence of suicide in New Hampshire by accomplishing the goals of the 2021-2024 NH Suicide Prevention Plan:

  • Raise public and professional awareness of suicide prevention
  • Address the mental health and substance abuse needs of all residents
  • Address the needs of those affected by suicide
  • Promote policy change.

2024 conference

November 14, 2024

Each year the SPC plans and presents a full-day conference devoted to bringing individuals, businesses, education, public health, mental health, and caregivers together to share, learn and expand the development of suicide prevention efforts, support for survivors of suicide loss, and attempt survivors. Generally held in November, the 2024 NH Suicide Prevention Conference will be held on November 14, 2024. Be sure to save the date and check back for registration information in early September 2024.
