About NHSPC

The mission of the State Suicide Prevention Council is to reduce the incidence of suicide in New Hampshire by accomplishing the priorities of the 2025-2029 NH State Suicide Prevention Plan (NH Suicide Prevention State Plan 2025_Final).

  1. Develop and implement wide-reaching partnerships and communication strategies to raise awareness and advance suicide prevention activities in New Hampshire.
  2. Prevent suicide in key settings in New Hampshire by ensuring those at risk of suicide get connected to the proper treatment and services they need.
  3. Enhance accessible and timely data on suicide thoughts, attempts, and deaths for a better understanding of the risk and protective factors for suicide in New Hampshire.
